Terms of Service

  • Labor charge is $60.00 per hour ($30 minimum).
  • Rush service is available for an additional 20%.
  • A deposit of 50% is required to start the work.
  • The balance paid in full once the work is completed.
  • Average completion time for repairs is 8-10 weeks, from the date of approval. Extensive repairs may take longer.
  • You will be notified via phone and or email once the work is completed.
  • On-site estimates are available in the Grand Rapids area for a $95.00 fee. If bid is approved, the fee will go toward payment of final balance.
  • On-site repairs are $95.00 an hour, plus sales tax, travel time, included, with a one-hour minimum.


Internet customers and unclaimed merchandise:

  • If you change your mind and do not want the work done, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. If a deposit is not received, the customer shall be responsible for the cost of return shipping.   
  • Items left without a deposit will be considered abandoned after 30 days.
  • Broken Arts Restoration will make every effort to contact you and work with you on your piece. Once the work is completed you will be notified via email or phone. Items left unpaid 30 days after notification of completion will be considered abandoned. Abandoned pieces will become the property of Broken Arts Restoration and may be disposed of at the discretion of management.


Packing and shipping:

  • Packing and shipping, including insurance, is through the Post Office or UPS 3-Day Select unless otherwise specified.
  • Broken Arts will not be held responsible for pieces damaged during shipping.
  • Will work with other shipping and delivery companies to assist in the transport of your art objects when requested.
  • Payment accepted via cash, check, Visa and Master Card. Pieces will be shipped once check has cleared. Return check fee is $35.00.
  • No CODs.
